Overview
As Receiving Supervisor, you will lead Mountainy’s receiving and returns department, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency across all inbound shipments and return operations. You will oversee a team of associates, drive workflow improvements, and maintain high standards of inventory accuracy and quality. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to resolve issues quickly while ensuring seamless warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise and coordinate daily receiving and returns operations.
- Train, coach, and evaluate associates to ensure consistent performance and growth.
- Provide feedback, resolve conflicts, and foster a culture of accountability.
- Develop schedules and assign tasks to maintain efficient coverage.
Receiving Operations
- Oversee unloading, inspection, and verification of inbound shipments.
- Ensure inventory accuracy in Ship Hero WMS, including lot tracking and expiration dates.
- Resolve discrepancies and quality issues in partnership with account managers.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient receiving area.
Returns Processing
- Manage the inspection, documentation, and processing of customer returns.
- Ensure accurate system updates in Ship Hero WMS for restocking or disposition.
- Collaborate with account managers to support client-specific return requirements.
- Oversee proper repackaging, labeling, and storage of restockable items.
Process & Performance Improvement
- Monitor receiving and returns KPIs to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and inventory integrity.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Partner with leadership to evaluate equipment, technology, or workflow enhancements.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with the Warehouse Manager, Shipping, and Inventory Control teams to maintain smooth operations.
- Communicate proactively with account managers to address client issues.
- Report damaged inventory and operational concerns promptly.
Compliance & Safety
- Uphold and enforce safety standards to protect associates and maintain compliance.
- Ensure receiving and returns associates follow company policies and warehouse procedures.
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred).
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Be flexible and willing to be cross-trained into other warehouse departments.

Compensation: $20.00 - $21.50 per hour
